In the last few years, the online office application has become more a reality. eMail, calender, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation; all out of Beta and being used in real daily life. However one thing was missing.

There was no real alternative to an address book. Simple solutions were available (connected to eMail tools, etc), or sites like Facebook or Bebo could hold contact information, but are more about creating a network of people you dont know rather than holding a list of people you do know. Would you put your granny or kid sister mobile number on Facebook? No!.

To fill this gap myContactDetails.com was created. A straightforward online application to hold contacts just like your address book by the phone.

Of course being an online application, gives us more opportunity to make life easier for the user, eg. What if, when you change your address or mobile phone number, instead of telling all your friends to update their information, you just made the new details available to them (only them). When they came to look up your number or eMail address, they would be sure they had the correct one.
